My first Photoshop Challenge win!

Looks like I won! I’m pleasantly surprised as this is my first photoshop challenge at the NAPP. I was required to use this photo of a toy plane shot under ordinary room light and use it in a creative way. In Photoshop, I changed the direction of light to give it this unlit look so it would fit in to the scene better. Then plenty of retouching to build what was behind the stationary propeller. Color grading to unify all the elements then finally used Lightroom 5 for small contrast tweaks and a dark vignette to emphasis the night feel of the image. I encourage everyone to observe how light acts in everyday life and use those observations as references for your creations.

Above the City Night
